Our assessment

Its documentation is the most specific in the .cn field: the verification path, the foreign documents accepted including a foreign business registration certificate, the three-to-five business day review by a third-party authority, and the rule that a domain must have more than forty-five days left before expiry when you file for ICP. It offers no trustee, which on a registry that verifies the registrant's own identity documents is the correct product decision rather than a gap. The weakness is the split between its two sites: its own guidance states that the Alibaba Cloud International site does not support ICP filing, so a foreign buyer who wants a mainland-hosted site is pushed to the China site, which requires a Chinese business licence, which is the thing they did not have. It offers no route around that and does not pretend to.

Where this provider appears

What is checked

Per-TLD fees and five-year totals, the contract terms on surrender and transfer, the legal entity that becomes the registrant of record in each country, non-payment behaviour, and what shows in each registry's public lookup. Figures are published only once verified against the provider's current pricing, with a date. The trust score weighs contract transparency, exit terms and holding structure ahead of price, and is not affected by affiliate arrangements because there are none.
