• Eight extensions added, each with an explainer written from the registry's own policy: .us, .ie, .ae, .hk, .tw, .kr, .dk and .tr. All but .tr have a comparison page.
• Price pages for .de, .eu, .fr and .no rechecked, with a five-year total in euros including VAT. Hetzner, INWX and Namecheap added to .de.
• Six new guides, on NIS2 identity checks, WHOIS privacy, trustee documents, registering before a company exists, expiry and transfer.
• .eu trustee comparison: DomainRegister International removed, now ten services. The business has been acquired by SupportHost, its published .eu trustee agreement redirects to SupportHost's own .eu page, and that page offers .eu to eligible registrants only. Its profile now says so.

September 2026

• .no trustee comparison: EuropeID and Web Solutions, previously given a shared 2.5, are now rated separately at 3.5 and 4 stars, with the reason for the difference stated on the page.

Every provider we assess may respond to what we publish. Write to info@trusteeindex.com from an address at the provider's own domain. We check each point against the evidence, correct the page where we were wrong and record the correction above, and on request publish a short, dated response from the provider on its profile.
