Our assessment
Openprovider is honest about the thing most trustee marketing skips: since May 2018 a .de domain needs no local presence, and the company says so in its own documentation. It still offers the service as an option, and where a registrar has wrongly kept local presence enabled it will remove it at no cost. It is a reseller platform, so retail buyers reach it through a reseller, and there is little reason to add the service to a .de domain in the first place.

Figures are published only once verified against the provider's current pricing, with a date. The trust score weighs contract transparency, exit terms and holding structure ahead of price, and is not affected by affiliate arrangements because there are none.
